Native insects

Hi Guys,

This week for topic we have been doing native insects. For the native insect Miss Scott made us a padlet and we had to find native insects from NZ. My buddy was Tory . Then we made a slide show and picked three of our insects. The three native insects we picked was Honey bee,Ant, Ground beetle and then we did five facts of each insect. After we finished filling it in me and my buddy Tory  picked the insects we picked ground beetle. Here is our slide. We haven't finished our ground beetle yet.  We are making it our of Papier Mache.

Pasifika

Hi Guys and Girls

Today at Assembly we did Pasifika and it was based the game on Saturday Tonga verse Kiwis. After the Tongan haka we did sipi tau which was called slap dance and I was the dancer and there were some drummers and one leader of the drumming.

buddy class

Hi Boys and Girls

For buddy class last week we had to make pigs out of a cardboard cup and two sticks but we had to cut it in half.  Ms Scott drew her pig but i didn't want to use Ms Scott's so i had to draw my own. lucky it just fit then we had to go to a station which was poking holes in the belly. We had to put the sticks in after we had to make zig zags so the pigs nose pokes out. The last rotation was hot gluing everything onto the pig.
